Dr David Newman and his wife Kimberly Newman worked together in the operating room to perform my hysterectomy, bladder repair surgery, and vaginal reconstruction. This team of doctors was awesome, Dr David Newman prayed with me in the operating room prior to my surgery and was very involved with my pre and post care. He has an awesome bedside manor and I would recommend him to everyone if you live in the Charlotte/Concord, NC area.

Dr. David Newman is exceptional. He is thorough, patient and very good at what he does. He puts his patient's individual needs first and is a great listener. He did my robotic assisted lapro. hysterectomy and it was a very good experience. I would easily recommend him to others without reservation.

I have been a patient of Dr. Newman for eight years. He just performed my hysterectomy 09/2012. He performed the surgery using the robotic procedure. I went home the same day and he made follow up calls to me for the next two days which was comforting. I was on my feet and walking around comfortable within two days. I had an issue with spotting and odor two weeks after the surgery and call the doctor’s office and was advised to come in. Dr. Newman advised me that it was normal. He has always been a great doctor to talk to about any concerns and makes you feel comfortable talking about any problems you may have. I don’t feel judged when I have a concern about my body or if I'm just curious about anything. He takes his time to explain things to you and I don’t feel rushed, to the point where I wouldn’t know if he a lot of patients that day. You feel so comfortable that you would think you were his only patient. That means a lot. But for any woman that may need a hysterectomy done, I would recommend Dr. Newman because he will make sure to have utilized all options and he is the best recommended for the robotic surgery for the hysterectomy. My sister came to see me and could not believe my recovery because she was cut at her bikini line when she had her hysterectomy in 2005 and some women this day and age are still having that procedure done. Dr. Newman is a great doctor with good solution. I am four weeks in after my surgery and ready to return back to work.

Dr Newman has performed fibroid removal and partial hyst. using Davinci. I have been living with irreg mens. cycle for 7 years. My last doctor could not remove the fibroids which were believed to be the pblm. I had "monthly" cycles that would last anywhere from 1 week to 3 months with short intermissions. That doctor only offered complete hyst because she felt she could not get to the fibroids any other way. And refused to do it because of my age. We tried numerous things. A friend recommended Dr Newman. 1st visit he was familar with my types of cases and recommend robotic fibroid removal since I had tried every birth control possible and other options. Unfortunately that didn't resolve the issue. But he was knowledgable enough to provide other solutions. Those were tried and it came down to doing a partial hyst. That was done without issue. He is a very knowledable with the latest and more innovative procedures and listens!

Dr. Newman is the BEST OB & GYN doctor I have ever experienced. His calm, professional and witty demeanor is refreshing. Dr. Newman is genuinely interested in actually listening to his patients and is active in all aspects remedying any female "problems" and healing processes you may be experiencing. Not only did he deliver my daughter in 2006 (wonderful experience), but Dr. Newman performed a minimally invasive surgical procedure using the new DaVinci robot technology a few weeks ago. I've never felt better!

Dr. David Newman is the best OB/Gyn in the Charlotte area. The practice is Greater Carolinas Women’s Center near the University Hospital. Dr. Newman has been my doctor for more than 12 years now. He has the best 'bed side' manners that I have ever experienced. He is never in a rush to get you out the door; he always takes time to talk to you about your life and what is going on. I highly recommend Dr. Newman.
