Dr. Shelton is my family physician and I have always been pleased with his manner and the treatment he has provided for me and my family. He seems to really care about his patients and he takes time to sit down and talk with his patients each time they visit. When I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis, I was seeing a urologist who I was not happy with. After several months of trying to work with the urologist, unsuccessfully, I went to see Dr. Shelton and asked him if he would be willing to treat my condition. He agreed and spent time talking with me about IC and about how I experience the chronic pain that is a part of this disorder. Dr. Shelton encourages me to learn about IC and the various treatment options. Even better, he listens to me about what treatment I would like to try and is supportive of me being actively involved in chosing my treatment. It is wonderful to have a doctor who listens and treats their patients as a partner in their healthcare. Dr. Shelton does this and I couldn't be more pleased with the care he provides!
