Dr. Garmon was my sons pediatrician from the time he was 1 month old until almost 3 years old when we moved out of state. I wish I could have brought him with me. He was very encouraging of breastfeeding, and encouraged extended breastfeeding too. He answered all of my silly "new mom" questions, with a smile and never made me feel like I was being unreasonable. My son was always on the small side and did not gain weight well. Dr. Garmon checked him out head to toe, and told me everything was perfect and it's okay if kids are small, just make sure to work on his self esteem as he grows up. He has a very friendly soft spoken demeanor that children LOVE, and he always sees parents as "the expert" on their own childs temperament, and lifestyle.
