Faye Ameredes is a totally one to one doctor. She has never been in a hurry, to see the next patient, she is a very thorough doctor. When I first went to see her, she did many tests, and every time she took the time to explain the findings in detail, answered all questions. When surgery day came she was there right before taking me to OR asked if I had any questions, promised me she would take care of me. After surgery, in my room she came by to check on me, asked me a series of questions, explained the procedures that she actually ended up needing to do and why. She is a wonderful and caring DR, and she treats you like a female with feelings and fears. I had a vaginal hysterectomy with removal of 1 ovary, cervix. I had a prolapsed bladder, and she had to make several repairs there as well. I have no abdominal incisions. After I got home, had some concerns, called her office, and her nurse called me back, then she conferred with Faye, and she called me back within an hour or so. Faye is not the typical Dr, dressed in suit and tie type. She is very professional without the total look of professionalism. I so appreciated this. For example she shows up in my room on the weekend wearing, a nice sweater/ and slack pants.
Just love her. She has been there for me from day 1. She has been highly recommened from many of the female staff in many Dr. offices as well as the Hospital staff that I have met. Friends and relatives I also have. Her office is called Harmony Health for Women.
