Suggestions are offered, your opinion is heard and TOGETHER a decision is made about your health. Unlike so many other, this is not a doctor who dictates to his patients. You take an active roll in how your problem will be treated and it is at your pace. He is always upbeat and comforting and you just never feel uncomfortable with him no matter what you ask about. I had a hyster, cystocele, and rectocele repair done and never once questioned whether I was in excellent hands.
