Where to begin!?! Dr. White is the last in a long list of gynos I have see over the last 7 years. I have a weight problem and most docs just looked at me like I was not worthy of their time. One even said "so, you're fat". Dr. White always made me feel at ease. He did everything humanly possible so that I could avoid a hyst. I told in 2004 I just wanted the surgery it was time and burst into tears. He refused; saying emotionally I really was not ready. I did not have any children and really wanted them. After many tests, medicaitons, trials, tears, sleepless nights and encouraging phone calls from Dr. White, I again told him in Dec 2005 I was ready for the surgery. It made sense since I still was not pregnant and was going to have surgery to remove a lobe of my thryiod in Feb. 2006 anyway. He "went along with it"; but said he reserved the right to find another way to end my pain. The morning of my surgery he arrived early to the hospital to make certain I was sure of my decision. When I told him I was he said he would be there every step of the way to help support me. He was in the OR when I was put to sleep and there in recovery when I woke up. He has been on the roller coaster of emotions with me ever since. I cannot recommend Dr, White highly enough. It would be my pleasure to answer any e-mail questions anyone reading this might have. I have recommended many women to him and continue to do so.
