Dr. Cosca performed a complete hysterectomy on me a week ago, and my rapid recovery is amazing everybody, including myself. She performed a new procedure, called a minilaparotomy, that evidently takes more time for the surgeon but results in vastly reduced healing time for the patient. I was able to attend a funeral 22 hours after the end of my surgery, and I was able to fly 6000 miles to join my husband in Europe four days afterwards!
Dr. Cosca is also kind, intelligent, and thorough. She was just appointed the head of Kaiser's OB/GYN department in Oakland.
