5/5/08 Dr. Montella performed a TVH because of prolapse. The Hystersister web site has date clubs where women who had a hysterectomy the same week can interact. Compared to the other women, I have had little pain and bleeding and seem to be making a quick and smooth recovery. This can be largely attributed to his skills. He is an intelligent, competent, up to date and caring person. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
His only areas of weakness are that he is not quite as warm in the hospital setting as in his office and for me, a very active person, his discharge instructions should have been more conservative.

Dr. Montella is a wonderful Dr. I had a hystorectomy,cystocele,rectocele in Jan.05. He did a wonderfuljob at making sure I was aware of all that was gouing to happen and that I understyood the procedures. He would take all the time I neede to answer my questions.Post-op he cked oin frequently and made sure I was ok and that the staff was doing thier job to make my visit better. I truly love this man . I have dealt with the medical field for many yrs. in different aspects ,with ailing parents and my own poor health and this man truly cares about his patients and does wonderful work.
