In a day and age when everything is rushed, she carefully explained all of my options for treatment and thoroughly covered all of the details.
I was presenting symtoms of Adenomyosis and we tried a less invasive procedure first, a Novasure ablation. I had no complications and the followup care from her was excellent. Unfortunately, that treatment failed(due to my adenomyosis) and I saw her again to discuss what the next step would be. I ended up having a Hysterectomy in March and again, her followup was thorough and gentle. A hysterectomy is the only cure for Adeno and you can't know for sure you have it until the uterus is out.
I trust Dr. Homafar to always tell things like they are and to be my advocate when I need it. She is very knowledgable and up to date with the latest treatment options.
