Although he did not deliver my 1st baby, a son.. I was recommended to him and he is great! very gentle and quick with exams and fun to talk to. Makes you laugh, goes with your request with your pregnancy.. how you want everything laid out. im just 12 weeks with my 2nd and he already talked about when he is inducing me because i want to work around my son and dont want to be worrying about him. Im having this baby Dec 31st. Dr Brabson is very experienced and friendly to work with and would recommend him to anyone

I totally recommend this doctor. I am 23 and just delivered my first baby, a son, via waterbirth. He is the only doctor I could find who would consider my request. His staff is wonderful and always inquired as to how I felt and how I was doing. He was very understanding that I wanted to avoid as many interventions as I could and allowed me to progress as naturally as possible through a 17 hour labor. Also, he was very helpful through a long grueling 1+ hour pushing phase. Though he is not my regular GYN, I will definitely choose him again when I deliver any subsequent children.

Dr. B and his whole staff rocks. They are the best. I am pregnant with my 4th child and he has taken excellent and I mean excellent care of me with all of my pregnancies. I have crazy stuff happen like falling, kidney stones, eye problems when I am pregnant. He has come in on his day off to the ER just to check on me. Usually he is already calling in to check on me before I get to the ER. He always takes time to talk with you during your visits and gives the dad to be a hard time :-) . I promise you could not find a better doctor.

I too wanted a female doctor, but could not get in b/c of my due date. The nursing staff at St Mary's highly recommended Dr. Brabson and I could not have been happier with my care. He, and his staff, were amazing during my pregnancy. He delivered my son in 2000 and if I have any more children, he will certainly be the one I choose again! He is patient, funny, understanding and makes you feel so comfortable. He is simply the best!

My personal experience with Dr. Brabson has been nothing but wonderful. When I became pregnant with my first son in 2003, I was going to Dr. Meric. She had stopped delivering babies and I needed a new doc. I was unable to get in with Dr. Newton because of my due date. I wanted a female doctor because I had never been to a male doctor before. I was recommended to Dr. Brabson. He was the first male doc that I had been to. I have never felt anything but comfortable with him. I felt he took great care of me and my baby. He has been my ob/gyn ever since. Baby #2 came along in 2007. Not only did he give me great care with my pregnancies, but he has also helped me in my effort to lose weight. I have lost 32 lbs so far with his help. He takes the time to talk to me and answer my questions. The staff there is wonderful. I am particularly fond of Denise and Maggie. They always make me feel special. I am hoping to add baby #3 sometime in the future and I look forward to having Dr. Brabson and his staff take care of us.

Dr. Brabson in my opinion is the very best doc around. I have been going to him for about 10 yrs. I have recommended him to so many of my friends and family and the love him too! He delivered my son in Aug 2006 by c-section. He is a very down to earth, compassionate, understanding doctor. There are not many doctors like that anymore. His staff are as nice as him. If you will just give Brabson a try you will not regret it and that's a "PROMISE". His office is at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville at the clark towers building. my doc has been the greatest. he has gone out of his way to make sure my surgery and recovery went as smooth as possible. He is comforting, very experienced, and has a positive attitude, such as, we're gonna make this better....if this don't work...we'll try until we find something that does. his office staff is fantastic, never making me feel like i'm being a "pest". i still have a ways to go but would not hesitate to recommend my doc to anyone who is in need to any type of ob-gyn services. while recovering from a lavh and an umbilical hernia repair has not been a picnic, knowing i can call my doc any time i need him has been a comfort. in fact, he encourages me to call him if i have any concerns.
