Dr. Sison-Alidio was the gyn who diagnosed my cancer. I was post-menopausal and when I told her my symptoms, she was on the ball and knew exactly what to look for. I first saw her in late October and after just 2 tests, she knew what was wrong and who to bring in on the surgery. She was also very quick at scheduling everything.
She is a very caring and comforting doctor. When she told me that it definitely was cancer, she hugged me until I stopped crying.
Before my D&C, I had never had any operation of any kind. She knew how anxious I was and reassured me and told me she does all her own surgeries. The day of my D&C she held my hand until the anesthesia kicked in. She was also there in the recovery room with me when I woke up.
She did the same when I went in for my TAH/BSO.
I highly recommend her to anyone and will really miss having her as my gyn (because of the cancer, I have a new gyn/oncologist).
