I have known Dr. Metzger for 15 years, first as her patient when she was practicing at UConn Health Center and was my infertility and pelvic pain doctor. When she went into private practice I followed her and it is because of her expertise that I was able to carry my last 2 pregnancies to term. Those 2 boys are here because of her. When the first one was born she held him like he was her own and in a way he is a part of her, she is his adopted aunt and he is her gift from God. Since she moved to California we have become closer than ever. She means the world to me, not only as an excellent physician but as a close friend. All women should see her if they are having gynocological or infertility problems, she is top of the line in her field and you will not find a better reproductive endocrinologist in the country.
