Dr. Blocker was recommended to me by a trusted gyn/ friend. I wanted an OB in Brandon who was professional and knowledgeable. I was always seen promptly and his staff is very courteous. I agree with Liz, he is a little serious, but very nice and polite. When I had to have an emergency C-section with my daughter, he was amazing. I was really blessed to have him there and am glad I went to him.

Dr. Blocker is good at what he does. I am 7 months pregnant and he is my obstetrician. I NEVER have to wait to be seen and I am always in and out very quickly because of his efficient staff. There are no other doctors in his office, so you will see him at every visit. One thing I will say about Dr. Blocker is that he has been doing this for so many years, he really doesn't get excited about much. My husband and I are so gitty when we go to our appointments, but Dr. Blocker doesn't show much emotion. He is very professional and his visits are all about business. Don't expect much small talk from him! If you are looking for a "warm and fuzzy" doctor that is going to laugh with you and make jokes...Dr. Blocker is NOT for you. But, if you want a knowledgeable doctor that is very frank and won't waste your time, call Dr. Blocker!

I highly recommend my surgeon, Dr. Wayne Blocker. I recently had a complete hysterectomy done by Dr. Blocker (17 days ago) and I am now at work and continuing with my life without pain !! Previous, I did consulted with several other gynecologists to no satisfaction. One doctor suggested my heavy bleeding and pain was due to the fact I was over weight even though the ultrasound found fibroids. My diagnosis was 6.7 cm fibroids and when Dr. Blocker performed the surgery he also found I had endometriosis. It was a blessing I was proactive with my health and sought a doctor who had plenty of common sense and expertise to suggest a laparoscopic / vagina hysterectomy. I am happy, health and grateful for all the kindness shown to me by all those involved with my procedure. Thank you Dr. Blocker !
