He was wonderful! I was referred to him with "cancer" and was terrified. He was able to fit me in quickly. Yes I waited for while in the lobby but it was worth it. He put my mind at ease, told me all the details, scheduled my treatment quickly, explained it in detail to me and my family on more than one occassion. I would refer anyone to him

I was referred to Dr. Mark Dodson from another OB/GYN. His office was able to get me in quickly for an appointment. Dr. Dodson took his time to review my chart with me. He asked me questions and let me ask questions. He was very professional, as was his staff. I was concerned about my next monthly cycle and the pain and damage it would further do to me. He got me right into surgery within two days of my appointment. He tells the truth and doesn't beat around the bush with information. I really like that. My husband said he seemed pleased that I didn't have what they thought I might of when he performed the surgery. I was impressed by his kind beside manner in the hospital as well as the residents he had working with him. My follow-up exam was good and he was so willing to help me find ways to help with my sudden menopause. One of his first suggestions was to try herbs and such to help. If that didn't help, then we would work on some other solution. I found that to be a wonderful trait, that a doctor would be willing to suggest something other than drugs right off. I would highly recommend Dr. Mark Dodson to any woman that may have ovarian cancer, menstrual problems, and or needing a 2nd opinion for a hysterecomy.

This doctor was kind enough when he was hurt to let me email him many of the tons of questions I had about my surgery, aches and pains and when would I ever feel better? He is an Obstatrician/ Gynocologist/ and Oncologist. His partner I would not reccommend. He has a calming voice and a nice business manner about him and was hurt this spring in an accident that I believe will make him a great docotor for his future patients. I had a very serious radical hysterectomy which should have kept me in the hosp 4 days and I ended up being there 10. I left eith a woulnd vac but it was no ones fault as these things do happen. I got an infection while at the hospital but it was healed up within a month. He is not neccessarily cheery but he is trustworthy and honest, very experienced and his colleges look up to him as he is also a professor at a teaching hospital in Salt Lake City Utah. I suggest him because he is an excellent surgeon, he knows his stuff. He could improve by being just a little ore personable, although it is hard for dr.s working with folks whom just might die no matter what you do. It is hard for that to bring a smile to your face. When that is all you do al day. I was spoiled by this doctor because of a complaint I made after seeing his partner who was I felt callous, uncaring and demeaning. It how ever allowed me the luxury of emailing my docotor while he was home sick and he was great to email me baack and answer my questions. Not many of us hav the opportunity to do that and I will cherish that opportunity always the rest of m like no matter how long or short it is. Dr. Dodson treatyed me for endometrial adenocarcinoma grade II Stage III A and at present I am still at a 60% 5 year survival rate. have had 5 weeks of radiaition 5 days a week and I dose of internal radiation. It has been a struggle for me to keep workin g through the radiaiton and I am glad I have no chemo to do and I am now begining on the every three months check mostly with my doctors down here as I am in Idaho and I will see him once a year at least for the next two years.. He is very intelligent and extremely experienced in this area. He removed a tumor about the size of an orange from my abdoman. I am grateful for that and that I am stil here to talk about it. This doctor could improve himself by not scheduling patients so close together (Q 10 Min)so that they felt like thy had enought time to ask him their questions
