I have been going to this doctor for the past 16 years, after the Ob/Gyn I had before retired. I love Dr. Zedler because he has such an excellent "beside manner". For all office visits, he comes in and chats with you first to discuss any concerns/issues. Then he leaves while you change into the gown and comes back in for the exam. And again, he talks with you afterwards.
He is very cheerful, friendly, and creates a comfortable atmosphere for his office visits (even for those dreaded pap smears). I had been seeing him reguarly for 6 months due to abnormal periods, although I am not menopausal. After testings to rule out cancer, he discussed treatment for fibroids before considering surgery. Tried different medication treatement methods to no avail. Finally after several months he suggested I could continue longer with medication or go for surgery - but to discuss with hubby and let him know my decision. I was very comfortable with the surgery process prior and afterwards due to his manner. He answered all of my questions by phone and then had a pre-op visit to discuss his procedure and answer any other questions. In the hospital prior to surgery he explained what to expect and when to expect his visits.
He has become very activie in menopausal research. He no longer practices Ob and focuses only on Gyn patients.
He gets an A++ in my book for being a great doctor!
