Dr Fine is your clear and ONLY choice for Gyno/Oncology surgery and cancer treatment. He's very friendly and has a great bed side manner. He and his nurse Allison and Wendy have made my fight do-able. I was diagnosed in Jan 04. Dr Fine operated on me ASAP. I knew they very moment that he was the right doctor for me when I was sitting in his office waiting to see the insurance and surgery scheduler he came round the corner and saw me sitting there. He walked up, hugged me and said, "you'll be alright, you can do this". That's what I needed to hear. I was just told by this doctor I had high grade nasty, mean cancer stage 3 Endrometrial cancer and needed a hysterectomy, 6 rounds of Chemo, and 30 shots of radiation. This cancer had killed my Mother in 1998 and my 2 Aunts as well. One Aunt didn't make it. Not one woman in on my Mom's side lives past 69. They all get this cancer and die within 12-18 months. It was going to be a long haul. I was freaking out, and he knew it and said the exact thing I needed to hear. Sure I have to do most of the grut work but without their support and knowledge I know I would not be alive today. My cancer has now came back and we are working hard to keep me above ground. I've lived the longest so far with this cancer and I plan on living longer. My family cancer history is scary and tricky to catch and I know I'm in for the fight of my life, but they are always there ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. Dr Fine offices out of Texas Oncology at Medical City Dallas and Plano. So he has access to CT and labs right on site. A sort of one stop shop for cancer patients. He speaks Spanish and loves chocolate. What woman can't like a doctor that loves chocolate? Gotta a cancer diagnosis call HIM!!! See Him!!! Gotta a scarey family cancer history see him for your check ups. They take most heath insurances and the office staff is super friendly. Your life will benefit from knowing these folks. They have hearts the size of TEXAS. My daughters are under there care as well. This nightmare of a family cancer history ends with me. Make Cancer history-See you OB/GYN every 12 months. One days in the sturups beats getting cancer and having to have to cowgirl up every 2 weeks for bout 2 years..argh!!! and if your still not convinced yet to see you OB/Gyn annually , Google "high dose internal vaginal radiation"..Yea I had 3 of those, made losing my hair a walk in the park---That should freak you out...See your OB/Gyn...don't be a wuz!!
