I highly recommend Dr. Rozebloom. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in January 2010. It took awhile to confirm the diagnosis, so I visited another doctor also, for 2nd opinions as to suggested treatment. As soon as I met Dr. Rozeboom, I was very comfortable with him. He has a caring and kind demeanor, and a warm smile. In comparing him to the other doctor I met with in another hospital, there was no doubt in my mind that I needed to go back to my first choice, Dr. Rozeboom. As soon as I contacted his office, they rescheduled my surgery, which was going to be a total hysterectomy, with removal of fallopian tubes, ovaries, and cervix. Dr Rozeboom does laparoscopic-assisted surgery, which is something else I requested after reading about it. Generally, with cancer, lymph nodes are dissected, but I didn't want to do that, so he did not insist on it. He let me choose. Everything was explained to me in detail, and since it was cancer I was dealing with, they worked fast to get me taken care of. He visited with me before my surgery, and was very reassuring to me. I had never had any other surgery, and I am 56 yrs. old, so I was naturally very nervous. I made it through surgery just fine, and the next day, he came to check on me to make sure I was doing well. He released me to go home that day. Two weeks later, I went back for my follow-up appt. He asked lots of questions about how I was feeling, and looked at all my little incisions. He didn't just hurry me out, or send me on my way, he showed that he really cared about me personally. He made it easier for me to deal with cancer and a hysterectomy. He is a great doctor!
