I was referred to Dr. Shah by another patient. I moved from VA to FL in the 8th week of my pregnancy. Every visit with him was amazing! When I found out that I was going to have a girl and what we planned on naming her he would come into the exam room asking me how little miss Karli was treating me. After my c-section he came to my room everyday to see how things were going and to check on " the little one" he is just amazing!

Dr. Shah is absolutely wonderful! After discovering I had fibroids (through a 9 hour ER visit of severe bleeding), I was referred to Dr. Shah at North Florida OB/GYN in Orange Park, FL (Fleming Island office). After reviewing my medical history (too many female problems/surgeries to name here) he asked "are you done?" I replied "with...?" And he said "all of this suffering you've had to endure.? Of course, my answer was a resounding "yes!". He then recommended TAH-BSO, and assured me it was the right procedure for me. He is very compassionate, held my hand while I cried, and told me he was going to make me better. During and after surgery, he again, was wonderful, compassionate, with a little humor thrown in to relieve my anxiety. He (and not his partners) checked on me each day while I was in the hospital, and answered any questions or concerns. While I'm almost two weeks post op, his staff has been remarkable in answering questions I may have, returning phone calls promptly (even on weekends), and giving me the quality of care and assurance I need during this process. I highly recommend Dr. Shah (although his staff, jokingly, tells me "Don't tell him how wonderful he is. His head can barely fit through the door as it is."). A truly compassionate physician with an excellent bedside manner.
