I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids in 2003. I ended up having a TAH in January 2007 but kept my ovaries. Dr Cushing took the time to explain to me why I needed a hysterectomy. She answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. She has a wonderful bed side manner. I had the surgery without any complications whatsoever and was back to work after one month. My mother has also seen Dr Cushing. During her exam Dr Cushing felt a lump in her breast and ordered a mammogram. The lump ended up being cancerous. It was been almost 5 years since my mother's lumpectomy and the cancer has not returned. I would highly recommend Dr Cushing if you need to see an OB/GYNE.
