As a few others have said, Dr. Kim Mackey is a wonderful doctor. Very knowledgable and experienced in his field. He answers all your questions during your appointment and is available via e-mail or phone for any follow-up after an appointment. He has a very positive attitude and gives you a basic understanding for his reasons for doing surgery.

I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy and bilateral oophorectomy performed by Dr. Kim Mackey in June 2007. Dr. Mackey is a board certified OB/GYN who specializes in MIP (minimally invasive procedures) for hysterectomy. My experience was terrific from the first office visit to the day I left the hospital less than a week ago. Dr. Mackey is patient, takes his time, listens and is very thorough, on top of being extremely knowledgeable and skilled. The staff at the hospital commented many times about how great it is to work with him because he is so energetic and upbeat, as well as being a great surgeon. That means a lot to me, being an RN myself. I also have to plug Meriter Hospital in Madison. I received great care there from the time I walked in the door until the time they assisted me to my car. I wouldn't change a thing.
