Dr. Levine performed a myomectomy on me in 2004. After an exhaustive search, I discovered him in a "Best Doctors" list and was not disappointed. Having already visited several OB/GYNs who were recommending hysterectomy to remove my very large fibroids, Dr. Levine's first suggestion was myomectomy. My surgery took many hours due to the size and type of fibroids I had, but I came through with flying colors thanks to his experience and skill. He has a bedside manner that inspires confidence and patiently answered my many anxious questions leading up to and post-surgery. Because he teaches at the hospital - and has for many years - his ability to explain even the most obscure concepts in understandable terms is noteworthy. He is well-known and sometimes there is a long wait to see him but it has always been worth it to me.
