in my early years of schooling I was trained in medical assisting at Wilson Tech and then received my A.A.S in medical office technology. I later went on to get my M.S. in special education. Through the years I worked in many offices. As a result, I take notice of every office I am in. There is so much to compliment about you and your staff I do not know where to begin. First, my initial phone contact. I was very upset about my pap result and wanted to be seen as soon as possible. I am sure this is always the case. The staff took all of my information and I was seen two days later. The desk staff is so well organized, kind, and patient. Lucy was so kind to secure me a referral on the spot due to new insurance regulations. She also set up my procedure, answered any questions I had, and was a pleasure. The medical assistants were very kind and professional. The setting of the office is very calming and welcoming. The day of my procedure, the nurse, and anesthesiologist were very calming and kind. The surgery suite is so comfortable. I felt so relaxed and well taken care of. My follow up and test results with Priscilla were reassuring, Dr. Schwartz is amazing...

Four weeks ago today I had a complete hysterectomy via "Robotic Surgery", performed by Dr. Schwartz. Dr. Schwartz took a great deal of time at the initial consult explaining options, the procedure itself, and answering any questions directed his way. I was contacted by the surgical scheduling department shortly after. In the hours leading up to the procedure, Dr. Schwartz was very reassuring and comforting. I stayed overnight at the hospital, and was eating breakfast and walking around the halls by morning. Post operatively, I had some issues which more than likely were due to my own eagerness to resume normal physical activity ie; heavy stairs, lifting etc.. Dr. Schwartz took care of the issue immediately, with the same sensitivity and reassurance. Today, I feel better than I have felt in years! I would highly recommend Dr. Schwartz.

Dr. Benjamin Schwartz, is an Oncologist/GYN, he performs minimally 80 Hysterectomies a month! He was highly recommended by my regular GYN, Dr. George Lau because I had Uterine Complex Hyperplasia with Atypia w/family history of Ovarian Cancer. Dr. Schwartz has compassion for his patients. I felt his love for his patients, many women I have spoken with in the waiting room depended on him saving their lives and he made every effort and did! His office is well-qualified staffed with many options for cancer patients. For me, he took and did every step in surgery to make sure I did not have cancer and took his time with frozen sectioning, pelvic washings, staging. He even took his time with the abdominal incision like a plastic surgeon would, leaving me with minimal scaring. He was there for me emotionally, as I have panic disorder and I would have never gone through with it without him and his staff. His Physician Assistants are Angels, if you had an issue they were right there on the phone with you or had you come in right away to check. Dr. Schwartz is a gentle, patient and compassionate man, a Surgeon who was sympathetic to my needs. HE saved my life. He explained in detail why at the age of 47 I needed to have my ovaries taken out along with the tubes, uterus and cervix. Thank GOD I listened to him, upon pathology and unfounded in prior to surgery CT Scans and Vaginal Pelvic sonograms there was a tumor (mass) in my left ovary which would have turned cancerous overtime, it was benign. He made sure that I did not have to wait to long for surgery to take place, it was done timely. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Benjamin Schwartz. I respect you and love you. Thank you for saving my life!

Dr. Benjamin M. Schwartz is a Gynecologic Oncologist. He is very quiet, yet is very willing to answer any and all questions. I did feel much more comfortable after seeing him and having him explain what was going on. He did come very highly recommended to me, by others and online, and I am very happy I called his office for an appointment. I do feel my surgery could have been better explained to me, yet, that may be my fault for not asking enough questions. My surgery was on Aug. 1st and I truly believe he does excellent work. I had a TVH/BSO, I was off pain killers in 3 days and am healing very well.

I do feel his bedside manner left a little to be desired, yet sometimes in this busy world, I guess we can't have excellence and good bedside manner. I felt my dr/surgeon should have came in to see me at least the day after surgery to ask how I was doing and to explain what had been done to me and he didn't, no one did. This did disappoint me. I was told I would be released the day after surgery and never even saw a doctor, so this wasn't the best experience, this can stand some improvement.

As a surgeon--EXCELLENT!!!!!
