Dr. Heimburger is awesome! I have been to so many gynecologists who don't address issues that are brought up during the routine exam. This was not the case with Dr. Heimburger! In fact, he talked to me for quite a while before he even did the exam. I appreciated this because it gave me the chance to talk to him about some of the issues I was having. He took his time and explained in great detail how things work -and what he suspected may be happening. Additionally, we talked about the possible treatment options based on symptoms and diagnosis. He LISTENS and will admit that since he is a man there is no way for him to relate to what women go through, but he shares his experiences with other patients to reassure that feelings of this sort are normal and other women experience them too. He is a life saver! I cannot say enough great things about him! He is fantastic and I would (and have already) recommend him to anyone!!! ps - Dr. Heimburger explains all options and allows the patient to make the decisions about treatment. <thank God>
