Technically speaking, I was his patient several years ago. The good thing is that the care I recieved from him was nothing short of excellent. The bad news is that I have moved a couple of times since then, and all of my doctors have had the task of living up to my experience with him. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer at age 31, and had a hysterectomy. The whole process was pretty traumatic, but I am incredibly thankful to have had him as my doctor. He is kind, skilled, knowledgeable, and has a sense of humor that is comforting. He is an excellent communicator, and although my visits were generally short, I never felt rushed, or like he didn't have time to listen to and address my concerns. My only issue with any part of my experience with Dr. Stohs was the decoration in his office. Honestly, if I have to talk about office decor to talk about something less than ideal, that's a good thing.
