This doctor knows his stuff... and I heard so many wonderful compliments about him while I was in the hospital, it further reinforced what I already thought of him.
It speaks volumes to me that the nurses, and other doctors, in a given hospital use the services of a doctor they have come to respect during their working hours. It seemed everyone I talked to during my stay was also a patient of his.
Dr. Knight has a wonderful connection with his patients. I felt it from the moment we met, just one month before my hysterectomy. He truly cares for his patients, and he is a skilled surgeon. He made hospital rounds twice each day instead of just once, and he issued orders to the nursing staff to make my recovery the best it could be (i.e., he told the nurses to let me sleep at night instead of taking my vitals every couple of hours).
I hope he never retires as I will look forward to seeing him in the coming years.
Another great thing... his office phones are answered by a live person every time. You never get those impossible voice mail systems that you encounter at every other medical office.
