I have had many GYN's in the past. I moved to Raleigh and fell in love with Dr. Carr. I have some female issues and he never once pushed surgery like so many other GYN's. He is a concerned God-fearing man. With God in the equation, he can't go wrong. Love Dr. Carr. He treats all his patients with care.

Best OB-Gyn ever! Has taken care of me through everything from multiple ovarian cysts and surgeries, clinical depression/post-partum from miscarriage, tubal litigation & weight control using Phentermine and a monitored health regime. Wonderful doctor-highly recommend him to anyone who needs an understanding, caring physician who will help you with more than just Ob-gyn stuff. By far one the best doctors I have ever had!

I moved to Raleigh from Chicago and found Dr Carr because he's close to my home and was covered by my insurance. I am so glad I did. He was professional and yet cared about personal, too. We chatted, I felt comfortable with him, and he was very helpful. Dr. Carr offered not only his professional expertise, but talked to me about my new job, school, and my hobbies. I am always a bit nervous of new doctors, but I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with the help I received at his office. His staff was also very helpful and friendly in my appointment booking and subsequent call with questions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carr's for many years and could not imagine seeing any other doctor! He truly cares! He is kind enought to ask about family and home as well as health and wellness. I have never felt more comfortable with any other doctor!

I saw Dr. Carr for the first time when he was part of Kaiser Permanente. Around the time our insurance changed, Kaiser closed down and I was able to follow Dr. Carr to his new practice. He was the doc who surprisingly told me I was going to have twins! After the birth of my twins Dr. Carr went into private practice where I have continued to be his patient for the last several years. He is so very caring, thorough and professional. He listens and provides options. I have recommended him to friends and they have all been very pleased.

I move here from out of state 3 years ago. I looked in the phone book and found Dr. Carr, because I knew how to get there without getting lost. It had to be karma. He is what everyone else has said in their comments. I was immediately comfortable and never had a doubt. He has a wonderful, personable bed-side manner. When he is with you you do not feel rushed, he answers all your questions, and you are definetly have his total attention thoughout your appointment. And I NEVER have sat in the waiting for longer than 5-10 minutes.

I highly recommend Dr. Carr. I personally worked with him in 1996 as his medical assistant and he was a very warm, caring, knowledgable doctor. He added a personal touch to all the patients he encountered. I got pregnant in 2000 and I was 34. I took the AFP test and it came back abnormal. I contacted Dr. Carr as a friend for support because I was very nervous and concerned that my baby was abnormal. He assured me that everything would be fine and that those tests come back false positive a lot. He was right!! I have a perfectly healthy 6 year old.
I really enjoyed working with Dr. Carr and he has a great sense of humor. I recommend everyone going to him for their OB/GYN.

Dr. Carr is a wonderful doctor, I have had two consultations with him, one of them to place the ESSURE insert. ( permanent contraceptive)
Dr. Carr was absolutely professional and yet very concerned about my needs as an individual.

Dr. Carr has been my live saver. He is my ANGEL! I have been to many physicians through out my journey, and seen a few that I would never recommend. Dr. Carr is caring, professional, listens and communicates as though he was a member of your circle of friends or family. Cares for you as an individual, not just as another patient.
I highly recommend him to anyone out there in need of a superb OB-GYN.
