I have been a patient of Dr. Guenther's for almost 7 years. He was my OB when my twins were born, and helped guide me through a very high-risk pregnancy. He collaborates very well with other medical specialists (I had to also see the perinatologists during my twin pregnancy), and he always makes sure that the patient's needs are considered first. I have just had a total abdominal hysterectomy done, and again, he has proven himself to be a stellar physician. He always answered my questions completely and never made me feel like I was stupid for asking questions. He goes above and beyond the regular call of duty for his patients, and for that, I am grateful. His team of nurses and his team of fellow OB/GYNs are also exemplary, but Dr. Guenther is the doctor that keeps the place running so smoothly.
I have heard that he will be retiring from delivering babies at the end of the year (I may be wrong.. it's a small town; you know how gossip goes sometimes), but Dr. Guenther will still continue to do surgeries. When he does completely retire from medical practice, this town will have lost a huge women's health advocate. I am truly blessed to have Dr. Guenther as my OB/GYN.
