Like the other comments about this doctor - they are true. He is the kindest, knowledgeable easy to get to know, soft spoken, truthful, thoughtful doctor I have had in any field or specialty. I believe that he really cares. As a good Texan, he even raises a herd of cows. Yet he is always dressed in a nice coat and tie. I had five procedures performed in 2009. Prolapsed, bladder sling and removal ovaries. All went well. I have had at least 5 other visits on other issues and Dr. Carley is consistent in display the above characteristics.

I also had a major downstairs blowout. Dr. Carley is everything that has already been posted about him..his practice..manners..and staff as well. If you are having vaginal/rectal /bladder issues..he's the man to see.

I went to Dr. Carley for a consultation about my rectocele in 2010. It had a third degree rectocele and I scheduled for surgery soon afterward. During the evaluation, he was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I chose him specifically because he didn't believe in using mesh for repair. I had read nothing but problems with this repair and didn't want to go that route. Once I scheduled for surgery, I made a reservation at the hotel in the hospital to spend one night post op because I live in Oklahoma and didn't want to make the trip back right after surgery. He is an excellent surgeon. I had surgery 8 months ago and I am doing fantastic. Yes, it's painful (I have a low threshold to pain though) and I eventually had to have a prescription for steroid foam to help me along my way but I'm so happy I had this surgery. My bowels are normal....no more assisting myself to evacuate. My vaginal canal is smaller now but I have no problems having sex. Give yourself some time on this. I stressed too much about this in the beginning and ordered a vaginal dilator that wasn't necessary. After I was fully recovered, my vagina just naturally stretched on it's own, but I have to say being 53, it's nice to be tight once again. Bottom line is, Dr. Carley knows what he's doing and is excellent at his craft. I am so happy to be well again!

I went to Dr. Carley because I was having some problems with prolapse. He did not pressure me in any way to rush to surgery, but gave me some alternatives to try first so I would have time to think about what I wanted to do. He spent as much time with me as I needed, answered my multitude of questions, and explained in detail what I needed to have done; and once I decided to go ahead with the surgery, he even called me the night before to see if I had any questions and to assure me that he and his staff would take good care of me. Subsequent to that time, my daughter had some problems with her bladder, and, of course, I sent her directly to Dr. Carley. He is absolutely the kindest, gentlest, most caring doctor I have ever gone to. He is extremely qualified, and I would recommend Dr. Carley without hesitation to anyone having the type of problems that he specializes in.

I had a hysterectomy in 2006 and within 6 months I was having some serious issues with prolapse . . . of everything! I wasn't sure what was normal and what wasn't. I went to my PCP for something else and when she looked at me down there, she recommended I contact Dr. Carley. I was only 46 at that time so I think she was surprised that I was having these issues. Dr. Carley recommended surgery to totally take care of me but he also offered other options. I knew surgery was my only REAL option but I still took time to think about it and do some research and within a few months I was back at his office saying "do it!". I had the surgery in September of 2007. Without getting into all the gory details, I basically had a total "face lift" down there and inside . . . I look and feel like 20 again, if you know what I mean! All my problems are gone and I live a normal life. His bedside manner is wonderful and he cares about you completely. He is very mild mannered and kind and his staff is way above average . . . every one of them. On my initial visits, he even drew pictures for me to explain what was happening to me and how he could fix it! Even when he came to see me while I was in the hospital, he wanted to know how the hospital staff was treating me! You can find him at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Carly to anyone at all. My only regret is that I didn't have the initial hysterectomy done by him. My surgeon was good but I mentioned the prolapse problems to him prior to the hysterectomy and he didn't see a problem. I found out later that just having the hysterectomy with current prolapse problems was almost sure to make things worse and it did. Dr. Carly would have taken care of everything in one surgery! Check him out! His training and experience is top notch. I think you'll love him as much as I did . . . as a doctor that is!
