I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Elrod - I highly recommend him! I had heard of Dr. Elrod through friends, and when the time came that I needed some medical advice, I turned to him. I have never had a male OB/GYN before, and was nervous about it, but this man is FABULOUS! Never once did I feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. He was diligent and professional, and after finding an anomaly that required surgery, he took the time to explain everything in detail. He answered all of my questions, spoke personally with my concerned father, and turned my nervous tears into laughter throughout the entire experience. When I awoke after the surgery was complete, Dr Elrod was by my side with a smile on his face. We no longer live in the same area, but I'm threatening to move to Alaska just to keep him as my caregiver. I still email him with questions/concerns, and feel lucky to have him in my corner. Yea Dr. Elrod!!!

Dr Elrod delivered my first child. If every doctors visit was a pleasant as they are with him, we would all love to go to the doctor. He was friendly and had a sense of humor right off the bat. He has become my initial point of contact for ALL my questions relating to his specialty. He answered all my questions thoroughly and is extremely knowledgeable about OB/GYN stuff. He has delivered thousands of babies all over the world and it is obvious that he cares about his patients and enjoys what he does. My husband also feels very comfortable with him and they have shared many hours of “friendly banter” in and out of the office. If you want a personable doctor with an expertise in his field, Dr. Elrod is the man for you!

He is such a down to earth guy. He takes the time to explain things and never makes you feel inferior or stupid for asking questions. I worked with him as an OB RN for almost 3 years and he was my physician during my first pregnancy. His bedside manner is one of the best around. He was one of the favorite and most requested OB physicians we had on the military base. He really cares about his patients and does not just go through the motions. He takes the time to go above and beyond if the situation requires it. His knowledge base is incredible and he was always educating the staff about the most up to date procedures and policies. I wish we had not moved away, or I would have kept him as my OB/GYN forever!!!
