After my cancer diagnosis and a very cold delivery of the news from my local gyn, I decided to go to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance for further treatment. I "drew" Dr. Swensen, and I cannot be happier with the care. He, and the entire SCCA team put my fears at rest by explaining everything I wanted to and needed to know about my cancer. I suppose the greatest gift is that he is a person always filled with hope and that is conveyed clearly to me. I always feel as if I'm the top priority when I see him, and he is always familiar with my case before I arrive. One thing that impresses me is that he has a wholistic view of health care. When I had an enduring infection after foot surgery, he got me a a consult with a specialist. He has facilitated getting me enrolled in the survivorship program. He is kind, personable. I feel absolutely confident in his expertise and the collaborative support of the SCCA care.
