Dr. George Lau has been my GYN for many years. A gentle, compassionate and caring man. He will explain in great detail any questions or concerns you may have. He is very patient, takes his time making sure you are leaving his office in good health and fully aware of what is going on. I had just underwent a complete hysterectomy four weeks ago 6/24/2010. I am 47 years old. On April 2010 I started staining in between periods and began heavy periods with pelvic and abdominal bloating, May 2010 I never stopped bleeding. Dr. Lau arranged right away for a D&C, outpatient procedure on 5/25/2010. They found I have Complex Hyperplasia with Atypia, polyp removed with family history of Ovarian Cancer. Dr. Lau explained in great detail my options. Dr. Lau contacted Dr. Benjamin Schwartz an Oncologist/GYN both talked over my condition and it was decided they would both do the surgery as Dr. Lau being Dr. Schwartz's Assistant. Dr. Lau assured me I was in excellent hands and that I will be OK. Dr. Lau cares about his patients, he treats them like his family. He even told me when I was upset and crying not to worry I will let nothing happen to you, I will be with you every step of the way. He checked up on me while in the hospital, he came to see me often. Dr. George Lau is a Blessing, I respect him, love him and thank him for taking such good care of me, saving my life!
