DR. Leight is an exceptional doctor. She always comes into the room and sits down face to face with me and listens to everything I tell here about whats bothering me. She makes me feel really comfortable in her presence and because of that I never have a problem discussing anything with her; and we all know that there are plenty of uncomfortable topics when it comes to females!! DR. Leight delivered my 3rd baby in 2005 and from that moment on I knew I had hit the jackpot of all dr's. In 2006 started having severe menstral problems and in 2008, decided,after various attempts at relief from medications, that a hysterectomy was my best option. DR. Leight sat down with me and dicussed the entire procedure to me. She was very clear about what to expect and what not to expect,she did not sugar coat anything. She is very compassionate about her work and she truly cares about her patients. The day of my surgery she made sure I was up to the surgery and performed extra test to make sure everything was a go for the surgery. She came to my room later on after the surgery to check on me and before I was released she sat down in the rocking chair next to my bed and talked to me and my husband while rocking back and forth in the chair. Then she gave me and my husband a big hug!,it was like she was family. I have seen alot od dr's but none have made me feel like everything I say is important and no question or complaint is stupid. Dr. Leight takes her profession and her patients serious. Shes more than a ob/gyn doctor, she is like family and makes you feel that way. She also has the sweetest nurse working with her. I recommend Dr. Leight to any women who is looking for a first class dr with a down home personality. She did a great job with my hysterectomy and was always there to answer any recovery questions that I had any time and every time I called the office. She was there for my husband and answered all his questions and concerns during and after my surgery and the birth of my child. i will always call her my favorite dr and hope to continue seeing her for a very long time and also hope that my daughters will have the opportunity to add her to there list of favorite dr's.
