I highly reccommend Dr Edwards! I was referred to him because one of the midwives I used during my pregnancies now works with him in his obgyn pactice. (My kids are now 27,24,21) I became his patient in my forties after experiencing period problems. While it is a busy OB practice us ladies needing Gyn are not ignored but welcomed! The practice has enough staff that waiting is nil and all the staff take a great interest in your care. He has an ultrasound in the office which was used to monitor my fibroids. When they became too problematic Dr E was very patient in helping me decide on surgery and was more than willing to help me consult the midwife and my primary. Dr E preformed my complete hyst 2 years ago and it ended up being very complicated due to fibroid growth and tissue in my bladder & ureter etc, but he had arranged for the urologistso the two of them managed. Meanwhile, I started beeding and needed almost 4 pts of blood! Dr E said in all his 30 yrs this had never happened but they managed to stop it. they saved my life. Naturally my recovery was very slow but everyone in his office was so attentive. Checking on me at home etc.
I can't say enough about him! He is from trinidad and has the loveliest voice and manner always making you feel as if you are his only patient. I highly reccommend him!
