I went to Dr. Hogan for my 1st year checkup after my hsyterectamy because I didn't like the doctor who did my surgery or his bedside manner after the surgery. When I talked with Dr. Hogan, she listened very carefully to me, explained why she felt that my prevouis doctor did what he did, what the usual reasons were & explained to me, what she would do to help me then and in the future. I have always gone back to her, and will always continue to. I have a young teenage doctor, who wants a female ob/gyn doctor & I asked her when she would need to see an ob/gyn doctor, she told me when & why.
My daughter will see doctor Hogan when the time is right & she will feel as comfortable seeing her as I do. I think a lot of it is because she is a woman & she knows or at least understands what I am going thru (or have been thru) and takes time with her patients & doesn't overbook patients so that others are kept waiting while she talks with you. She truly is a rare gem.
