His knowledge and skills as well as his theory sets him apart from the mainstream of ob/gyns and seem to finally get the so well deserved recognition as patients as well as surgeons from all over the world come to him to be for treatment and training. I am myself am from the Netherlands, live in the United States and after getting a second opinion from him choose to go to Bend, Oregon for surgery. That morning my surgery was observed by a surgeon from England.
Dr. Redwine is able to do most surgeries larascopically, is outstanding in pain treatment after the surgery, is open to using drugs that work for a patient even though they are rarely used in the hospital, and is highly skilled in restoring bowels and bladders that have been affected by the endometriosis. Patients that have had multiple unsuccesful surgeries will often find final relief by going to dr. Redwine.
Dr. Redwine distinquishes himself from other doctors simply because he has remained personable and humble in dealing with his patients. He surely takes charge as your doctor even when you are out of state. I experienced a post surgical complication out of state which was misdiagnosed and consequently I received incorrect tx as well. I ama-ed and decided to fly back to Dr. Redwine. Not only would he have come to the ER in the middle of the night deemed necessary, he diagnosed the complication quickly by putting the pieces of the puzzle together, intervened and I could continue my healing process. The complication was simply a hematoma. II still regret not flying back to him immediately.
Dr. Redwine is personable, has a great sense of humor, knows when to be serious, is very detailed oriented which is very good to have as a surgeon especially for endometriosis, is extremely driven, yet not pretentious, very empathic, firm if needed, confident in knowing that he knows what to do, enjoying a challenge, having a heart for women who suffer so much because of misdiagnoses and is deeply committed to end their suffering.
