Dr. Joyce performed my daVinci robotic-assisted hysterectomy 4 days ago. She is a talented, patient, compassionate person - a surgeon with a good bedside manner! I was so nervous when I first decided to have the surgery and she spent a long time talking to me, explaining things that she must have to explain all the time, yet never made me feel rushed or annoying in any way. My fibroid was huge and other docs may not have thought me a candidate for laparoscopic surgery, but Dr. Joyce was confident and I'm so happy with my decision.

This doctor is phenomenal. She is part of a large group practice in Albany, NY and they are all very good, but she is exceptional. Her bedside manner is empathetic, sincere and she doesnt rush you at all. She performed a hysterectomy on me and she had all the latest skills..using robotic surgery to minimize adhesions, blood loss, etc. At the time, she was the only one in the group who was trained/authorized to perform it this way. I believe she is also the medical director of the hospital. I have never felt like she did not listen to me and answer all my questions before I left. I recommend her to anyone..but call fast, she is VERY HARD to get an appt. with. I make my annual visit w/ her ONE YEAR in advance.
