Dr. Stanley is by far the best doctor I have ever had. Even when I saw him the first time and was upset about abnormal periods, he calmly recommended an endomitrial ablation. He did the surgery several months later and I was in and out of the hospital in a matter of hours. I felt so much better about myself. I see him every year for my "well-woman" visit and he is always very kind and caring. I saw an ad in the paper today that said he was leaving Halifax/OB-Gyn effective June 30. It did not say where he was going. I wish he would/could put something in the paper that would let us know where he is going; so that if I needed to, I could change my insurance. If he is moving out of the area, I wish him a heartfelt goodbye. I didn't even know he gave his time to uninsured patients. I know what it feels to be without insurance and to me that is by far the most kindest thing a doctor can do. eas

I totally trust Dr. Christopher Stanley - in all matters! He is an outstanding surgeon!... a kind, efficient, thorough doctor!!! ... and all women should be very pleased to have him as their ob-gyn!... He took care of my painful prolapsed uterus, vagina vault - quickly, efficiently - and totally pain-free -with a hysterectomy - and I walked out of the hospital in only a few hours - and needed no pain medication... I have been to see him several times - checkups, etc. - and he has always explained everything thoroughly!... He left no questions unanswered...He is kind and sweet - and not bad to look at!!! =D ..!!! His nurse, Lin, is always right there - very competent and caring, good and kind!!.. What a team!!!

My surgery was remarkable. I have to attribute Dr. Stanley's vast experience with LAH and his marvelously good looks to my quick recovery. I had four tiny incisions that allowed me to WALK out of the hospital 7.75 hrs after arriving for the day surgery. I didn't even need pain medication.

Dr. Stanley volunteers his time to a GYN clinic for uninsured patients affiliated with our local Halifax hospital. I am one of those patients who received a LASH procedure recently. I found him friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, accessible, experienced and cutting edge. I trust him completely and recommend him to anyone needing a GYN or urologist for a first time visit or a second opinion. I had seen many Dr's over the years and always had bad pap smears and not one of them gave me any reason for it. Dr Stanley diagnosed me with the HVP virus (#1 cause of cervical cancer) and by then I was already stage 1. I had the hysterectomy, he expained everything very thouroughly. I never felt as if my questions were avoided or left unanswered. I never felt like I was alone. He alsways gives straight, not over your head answers and never makes you feel stupid for asking.
I trust him with my life, as I should he probably saved it.
I would reccomend him to anybody that wants a Dr that gives you all the answers even those you may not want to hear, won't keep things from you and really cares about patient care.
