Dr. Stanley volunteers his time to a GYN clinic for uninsured patients affiliated with our local Halifax hospital. I am one of those patients who received a LASH procedure recently. I found him friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, accessible, experienced and cutting edge. I trust him completely and recommend him to anyone needing a GYN or urologist for a first time visit or a second opinion. I had seen many Dr's over the years and always had bad pap smears and not one of them gave me any reason for it. Dr Stanley diagnosed me with the HVP virus (#1 cause of cervical cancer) and by then I was already stage 1. I had the hysterectomy, he expained everything very thouroughly. I never felt as if my questions were avoided or left unanswered. I never felt like I was alone. He alsways gives straight, not over your head answers and never makes you feel stupid for asking.
I trust him with my life, as I should he probably saved it.
I would reccomend him to anybody that wants a Dr that gives you all the answers even those you may not want to hear, won't keep things from you and really cares about patient care.
