Dr. Faches is very thorough. She is very personable. Recommend her.

Dr. Faches sees my entire family: husband, children, sisters, brothers, their children...all of us! Even the ones who don't like going to the doctor love her! She never rushes through an appointment and is very caring. Her nursing and office staff is also the best I've found in long time.

I do not recall what year it was when I first meant Dr. Faches, but I do know it was well over 5 years ago.

When Edison Medical Group was still in existence is when she was assigned to me on one of my visits. I had been going to the doctor's office frequently for a stomach problem. All the doctor's in the office prior to seeing Dr. Faches would prescribe something that would last for a little while, but then the pain would return.

On one particular visit Dr. Faches looked through my file and noticed how often I had been to the office for the same symptoms. Dr. Faches said, "you have been coming here for the same thing for a while, let's put an end to this and fix your problem". My reation? FINALLY!!! She had me take a test and exactly what she thought, is what I had.

Unfortunately, without any notification the Medical Group closed and for almost 3 years I had no doctor. I had no idea where Dr. Faches was relocated. Finally, one day, I decided to do a web search and I found her. Then I prayed she belonged to my insurance company. Thank God, she was.

I have been going to Dr. Faches every since and every visit, except me being sick on occasion, has been a pleasure. I do not feel like I am at a doctor's office.

I highly recommend her.

I had my first visit to her office recently and found her to be quite kind and thorough. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a primary care physician.

All the things the others say. I have been to many, including focusing on doctors of my own ethnicity [what a waste - they knew all about me without even looking!!] and finally decided to look elsewhere and indeed commend inspite of the imperfections of the system.

I began seeing Dr. Faches about two years ago. I am a mother of 4 young children and found out that she is, too. My favorite thing about her is that she understands children and has amazing intuition. She also understands the demands of motherhood and is extremely validating. I never feel like she is in a rush and I always feel really listened to. I highly recommend Dr. Faches.

My first visit with this doctor was approx 1.5 years ago.
I was overdue for a physical and noted the items/symptoms I wanted to review with her. She is a pleasant person and LISTENED to my concerns & did not "discount" them.
It was refreshing to find a physician that is interested in finding out the cause of problem(s) and not just wanting to prescribe and/or treat symptoms with Robitussin.

Dr. Allison Faches in Metuchen, NJ is awesome. She is extremely warm and friendly. She is also very through.

I went to this doctor in 1997 for a servere on the job back injury and she was so nice, compasionate and took the best care of me and refered me to the appropriate level for treatment. She protected me from any harm when I was returned back to work to ensure no issues. I thought she was wonderful, and a doctor who truely cares about the well being of her patients.

Very sweet and a great personality. Great family doctor. Always get an appointnment within 24 hours. She is very thorough and a great bedside manner.
