DR. MICHAEL DERN ( BGPM) IS NOT ONLY A DOCTOR BUT A TRUE FRIEND THAT "LISTENS AND CARES" ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. I OFTEN FIND MYSELF WONDERING HOW HE HAS THE TIME AND PATIENCE TO DO THIS ONE ON ONE WITH EVERYONE HE SEES. HE HONESTLY LETS YOU KNOW THAT HE CARES AND WILL DO EVERYTHING HE CAN TO HELP YOU. HE IS ALSO UP ON TODAYS NEWEST TECHNOLOGY. I THINK DR. DERN'S PATIENTS ALL HAVE AN APPRECIATION FOR HIM DUE TO HIS BIG HEART AND OVERWHELMING SENSE OF COMPASSION TOWARDS THEM. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. DERN AND CONSIDER HIM ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST REPUTABLE PHYSICIANS AROUND.

Dr. Michael Dern is truly a "one-of-a-kind" doctor. Yesterday I was in his waiting room for a 4:00 appointment, arriving on time but finding 7 of his patients still waiting to be seen. Understandably patients of his know that waiting to see him is part of what makes him unique. He takes the time to listen. His resultant care means truly individualized medicine. He balks at protocol and insurance standards and does what he knows is best for his patients. I put forth this recommendation at the risk that more people will want him for their own medical care---I'd really like to keep him as my best kept secret!

Let me ask you this? When was the last time your own doctor called your home to see how you were feeling or how you were reacting to medication he/she prescribed for you? Or when was the last time you spoke with your doctor fully dressed in his/her office. This would be routine if Dr. D (as he's know) was your doctor!

Dr Michael Dern is by far the most hands on, compasionate Dr thatI have ever met. He has always been there for my children, husband and myself. His follow through and genuine concern for us over the years sets him apart from other physicians.
