One can not have a better friend than Dr. Cheung. When I had my 23-hour brain tumor surgery in 1990, he stayed over night to update my family & friends my condition in the OR. When I needed to move up the mastectomy for my breast cancer recurrence, he served as my 2nd opinion doctor and saved me from running the risk of getting my right shoulder/arm paralyzed. (The margin ended up to be just 0.5 mm from my right pectoralis muscle.)
He's a very busy doctor. Besides practicing medicine, he used to run a Tai-chi studio teaching the locals how to improve their health both mentally and physically. He speaks Cantonese and also taught himself Mandarin. Look at the many areas he's specialized in radiation oncology, one wonders if he's ever got any time for himself.
I feel very fortunate to have him as a friend.
