I have been a patient of Dr Simmons for over ten yrs and recommend her to all of friends.I began visiting her for excessive bleeding problems.Unlike my past experiences Dr. Simmons didn't blame my problems on stress or me instead treated the problem.She always presented me with options available and allowed me to choose which option I fealt comfortable trying.I did recently have a hysterectomy, after ten yrs of treatment my bleeding problem had been resolved for the past 5yrs. but due to pain,fibroids,& ovarian issues it was time for this option.It was an option we have reviewed many times but I wasn't ready. When my situation was very serious 5 yrs ago and Dr Simmons reviewed hysterectomy I explained as a single Mom with no disabilty insurance at the time I could not afford the work loss,she gave me the option of ablation,preformed the procedure on a friday and I was back to work on Monday.I thank Dr Simmons for listening to her patients and treating the whole patient not just the problem.having Dr Simmons is like having a family member as you're physican,a highly qualified family member that you can have a great deal of confidence in.
