I was having trouble conceiving and my obgyn at the time suggested fertility drugs right away. I was extremely uncomfortable with that so my sister in law suggested I go to Dr. Hardey since I was using natural family planning as a tool for conception. He sat in his office with me and my husband and took the time to look at all my charts and answer any questions we had despite the fact that I wasn't his patient (YET). Well, I have never felt so comfortable and cared for by another doctor in my life. I did get pregnant soon after becoming his patient. His staff is amazing as well. I got pregnant and had some bleeding at the very beginning. People I know who had miscarriages told me their docs said to just wait it out, that there's nothing they could do... Dr. Hardey told me to come in right away. The minute he saw me he hugged me and said everything would be alright. He knew how much I wanted this baby. He just kept telling me God's will be done. After an ultrasound showed the 5 week old baby was ok, he hugged me again and said see God's will be done. I cannot express how wonderful he is. My pregnancy/delivery was a wonderful experience and Dr. Hardey was partly the reason. He and his staff are the most amazing people, they don't make it feel like the typical dr.'s office. It feels like youre visiting family. There is no comparison to Dr. Hardey. His compassion and morals go above and beyond.

Dr. Hardey is a very compassionate, extremely competent OB/GYn. When I went to his office, I was experiencing multiple, vague symptoms. He took the time to not only diagnose moderate squamous dysplasia, but to also look after my emotional/psychological needs. He treats his patients with dignity, respect, Christian love and consideration.

Because Dr. Hardey is a Christian physician, and because he doesn't prescribe birth control or normally do hysterectomies, it terrified me when he suggested that I have a hysterectomy. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that, despite the surgery being a rarity for him, that he was well-versed and competent in the latest techniques!

Post-op, I discovered that Dr. Hardey has a very compassionate bedside manner. He not only treats women, but he also cares about each patient personally. I have yet to meet a physician, either GP or OB, who can compare to this man. He also has a very great knowledge of homeopathic medicine (for those of us with an aversion to prescriptions).

For scheduled check-ups, Dr. Hardey really goes the extra mile to look at what's going on with you. He takes the time to sit down with you, explain what's going on in language you can actually comprehend, and patiently answers questions. It's worth the wait to go to this OB/GYN. He's saved my life once, and he continues to make my quality of life better. Thanks, Doc.
