Dr. Whang was an amazing doctor. I brought my 2 year old daughter in with a high fever and she was vomiting everything she tried to drink or eat. I just remember how crowded and busy the ER was that night. Because my wife was working late, I had to take our daughter to the hospital by myself, and I was so scared because I was worried that I was going to forget to mention something important about my daughter, and it would end up hurting her. Dr. Whang had a wonderful bedside manner with my 2 year old. He sat down next to us, and had this calming voice which seemed to decrease my daughter's desire to keep crying. I was watching some of the other doctors talking to their patients, and it just seemed so abrupt and rushed, and the patients were getting upset. Dr. Whang could tell that I was worried, and he explained everything so thoroughly and clearly. After he was finished examining my daughter, he not only repeatedly asked me if I was understanding what he was talking about, he asked numerous times if I had any questions whatsoever, and he even wrote all the pertinent information and instructions down for me personally to pass on to my wife. I was really lucky that Dr. Whang was our doctor. I think I would have been really freaked out and afraid to take Ashley home if any other doctor had treated her and then rushed through an explanation. He really kept his cool, and that helped me to keep mine. Thank you, Dr. Whang!
