Can't beat his bedside manner.

Dr. Mateo I found on accident, but he was a ANGEL in disguise. In all my years of struggling and from doctor to doctor. I have never met anyone as caring,compassionate,and understanding as he is.He is a genuine GENTLE soul. He performed my LAVH..the care that he put into my surgery, and patience,of knowing what a difficult hysterectomy physically and emotionally put me at ease. Thru every visit prior and complaint, he listened noted and understood. Never made me feel uncomfortable, even thru my tears and fears he will speak to you with such softness that you cant believe one can calm you down and give you so much hope.It wasn't a matter of insurance and payment and pain pills..or too give you a temporary bandaid. But a honest solution of whats best for you as the patient. i have only been his patient for a few months and I am forever greatful..I feel as he has given me life to live.For years no one would hear me out and understand. He did...with his patience,friendly and comforting voice along with his exceptional surgical skills as well. I highly recommend him. My insicions were so beautifully done..that after 3 weeks you hardly can even see them. They are healing wonderfully. I count my blessings everyday to have Dr. Mateo in Port St Lucie, and knowing that he travels to so many other facilities, and still has the time to be as compassionate as he is, is amazing.The greatest thing of all..is he is completely HONEST, with you and himself. Again I am honored being one of his patients.He has taken the fear out of the word GYN for me. He has given my kids their MOM back...and made me feel whole again.
