When I was 23 years old I had been going to an Internist for about 3 months due to enlarged lymph glands in my neck. He tried several different antibiotics thinking that I had an infection. He finally sent me to Dr Papachristou (General Surgery & Oncological Surgery) who looked at me, felt around my neck then told me I had Hogkins Disease. He said if I did what he instructed me to do I would be fine, that was 22 years ago. Now I am going to him again as I had something show up in my mamogram that looks suspicious. He has me scheduled for a biopsy however told me not to loose any sleep over this as it is very small. He said even if it is something you will be fine. If you don't like a doctor that is direct to the point then don't go to him however I love him. When I went in last week, I heard the girls say "she must have been one of his first patients". Not quite but he has aged since then as have I.
