I met Dr. Barrueto in November 2006 after my gyn referred me to him. I was told that his "bedside manner" wasn't too great, so I was nervous. When he walked into the room, I instantly felt at ease. His besdie manner is EXCEPTIONAL! He performed my first sugery, a laparoscopy with left salpingo-oophorectomy in January, and he is also doing a total abdominal hysterectomy for me in 2 days. Although I am nervous about the procedure, I KNOW that I will be in good hands. Dr. Barrueto is a skilled surgeon, very thorough, and takes the time to discuss everything with you. He even answers phone calls and returns calls during the day. I highly recommend Dr. Barrueto to anyone needing a reproductive endocrinologist. He is top notch!

This Dr. is a really skilled surgeon(other Drs. also think so). I am so thankful that I was referred to him. What I appreciate most is that he takes what you are saying seriously and doesn't dismiss pain as "something in your head", but has tests done and makes suggestions on which you can decide. He has a pleasant bedside manner. AND He returns your calls. Last month I had surgery to excise endo and adhesions with Dr. Barrueto and Dr. Audlin (who is new to his office and very easy to talk to also). I am much, much better, and glad that I had the lapro. surgery.

He's so wonderful that words cannot describe it. He's so compassionate. He's concerned about his patients. When I went for my yearly, he noticed a nasty bruise I had from a nerve conduction test for severe carpal tunnel. He, obviously concerned, questioned me about how I received it. After my gyn exam, he examed the bruise to make sure it was not a hematoma and my hands because of the carpal tunnel! The appt ended with him reasurring me of the physical relief I would feel after the carpal tunnel surgery. He performed my hysterectomy in 2005. I had trouble with my insurance, due to a wrong code and his office straightened it out, even reassuring me that if needed Dr. Barrueto himself would write a letter. I have 5 friends who also go to him. We call ourselves his fan club because each of us was referred by one of the others.
