Dr. Meaux performed a total abdominal hysterectomy. It took a few years in coming to the decision to do this surgery. She suggested alternatives and ultimately she allowed me to come to this decision on my own. She is extremely caring, patient, frank and honest (she comes to things from a FEMALE perspective, but is the first to admit when she can't answer things with 100% certainty). She is always pleasant and cheerful. She takes time to answer questions, discuss research you may have found, never making you feel rushed or as if your concerns are ridiculous. And as an added bonus - she is a great sewer - my scarring is minimal. She is currently treating me with HRT and I couldn't be happier or feeling better. I highly recommend Dr. Meaux.
