He has been our family doctor for over 20 years. He is patient, caring, listens well and explains everything.-allowing you to ask questions as he discusses your problem. He ensures you understand not only the course of treatment decided on and why but what diagnostic tests will be done and why. He treats you like an intelligent partner!! He takes excellent care of myself and my family. His staff is very caring and his office is extremely efficient.(far above many expensive specialists' office staff!!). He always tells you when not to worry and when to be concerned -not to scare you but to ensure you stay the course.. Most recently,he treated me for unknown fatigue , depression and vague aches and pains..it took time, he was very encouraging that we would find the root --I would have given up and just lived a less than quality life--but he persisted and pinpointed what he felt was the problem-- (although found some issues like sleep apnea along the way and got me to the right doctor for treatment for that--and then referred me to an excellent endocrinologist which resulted in surgery for parathyroid removal-Dr. D stayed up to date with my case throughout,-- took the time to mentally prepare me for surgery and explained everything the other doctors were going to do. He is the best person to have in your medical corner. He is the best!!
