Over a month ago, I was rushed into Crittenton Hospital with severe abdominal pain. It was due to an inflamed gallbladder. Dr Albaran was recommended by the hospital, and this was the best thing that could have happened. We know of no surgeons, and was very nervous about the procedure. However, after meeting with Dr Albaran, his calm and professional manner eased our concerns. The surgery was flawless. My family and I thank him for my life.

All the other comment in regards to Dr. Albaran rang true in my case, as well. His bed side manner is excellent and he takes the time to ensure you understand the procedure and answer any questions. I knew I was in good hands when the nurse told me if she had to choose a doctor to have her appendix removed, he would be the one.

I met Dr. Albaran when my son's appendix ruptured. He practices medicine with HUMILITY and always treats the patient with DIGNITY and COMPASSION. His bedside manner was excellent, from thoroughly answering all questions to ensuring my son's pain was kept to minumum, all facets of patient care were covered. My wife and I also met his partners from Rochester General Surgery, Drs.Hinshaw and Sullivan, and found they provided the same level of care. We were in the pediatric ward at Crittenton Hospital for over a week, and found the level care provided by nurses to the child and parent to be OUTSTANDING. Finally, it has been 18 months since we have had any contact with Dr. Albaran, so why am I writing this now, because we will always remain GRATEFUL to this man. How do you know you had an impact on 10 year old boy, when he still wants become a surgeon year and half after the fact!

He is a wonderful, caring surgeon he has a wonderful disposition and smiles a lot. He explained the procedure in depth to me and made me feel less apprehensive about it. He has a great bedside manner and follow-up visits are great too.
I had to have a huge incisional hernia repaired with mesh and six months out I have not experienced any problems. I was not in much pain in the hospital either--compared to the exploratory surgery I had done by a different surgeon. He came highly recommended to me by another doctor.

Dr. Albaran is a general surgeon. He is personable, caring and always puts the patient first. He is highly ethical and highly skilled. I worked at a hospital for 25 years and left my job to go work for him because it was important to me to work for someone I respected. He works at Crittenton Hospital and William Beaumont Troy. When you want a good recommendation for a physician, you should ask the staff at the hospitals what physicians they would use.
