I have been going to Dr. Laird since he did my 1st surgery(May 2005). He is a D.O. and has a Family Practice and is also a Specialty/General Surgeon. At first i was going to him as a surgical patient only, he has done 7 surgeries for me, but i switched over to him a year ago so now he is my Family Doctor. He is so compassionate and caring, and he always makes me feel that what i have to say is important and he listens to me. He doesn't treat his patients like they are just money in his pocket. He also has foot clinics where people can get therapy and pedicures and the only payment he takes for that is what insurance or Medicare pays..patients never get billed for the rest of it. When he did my Hysterectomy in May of 05 i woke up in my room in a lot pain and the nurses couldn't get it under control. Dr. Laird had already left town to go back to his clinic which is 48 miles away. They called him and he made the 48 mile trip back to the hospital and stayed with me until my pain was under control. Not many doctors would do that..a lot of them would just give the nurses orders over the phone. I would recommend him to anyone..my 10 yr old son even say's he is "awesome" and my Mother goes to him also and she just adores him.
